| Burns Philp Building |
CM+ prepared the conservation management plan for this significant building and completed the conservation of the stonework façade, and the restoration of the entrance foyer to its original form. The basement has also been adapted to a new use as a tavern and the ground floor as a restaurant.
The former Burns Philp building is a three storey, plus basement office building in Federation Romanesque Style designed by McCredie and Anderson c1898-1901. The stone facade is one of Sydney's finest examples of the stonemason's craft with Romanesque detailing and motifs reflecting the Burns Philp's ownership.
