CM+ was commissioned to carry out the masterplanning, architectural and landscape design for a residential estate on a degraded industrial site in DongGuan, Canton province, China.
The masterplan draws on the natural creek lines, upgraded lake and natural topography to create a stepped residential pattern connecting to the lake with a system of pathways and open space links, a hill-top park and village green. The estate offers a variety of housing types including villa houses, row and semi-detached housing, and apartments together with a retail centre, hotel and kindergarten.
