| Crows Nest Main Street Revitalisation |
This project, implemented over a period of four years, involved a heritage/urban design study of the Crows Nest Centre, development of an improvement programme for Willoughby Road and adjoining streets, as well as a Master Concept Plan for the Centre and detailed streetscape improvement plans which have been implemented in successive stages.
Streetscape improvements in Willoughby Road and adjoining streets have contributed to the revitalisation of this busy retail area. The practice's artistic talent in the built environment is evident in the crow designs which appear in the metal grille work. Elevated planters have created outdoor 'rooms' along the street which accommodate a range of outdoor retail and dining facilities.
