| Coffs Harbour City Centre DCP Review |
Coffs Harbour is a major coastal city serving the region. The city is a tourist and retirement destination with government and private enterprise functions and a population of approximately 65,000 and growing. CM+ in association with property economists Hill PDA prepared a draft Development Control Plan to test the feasibility of new planning controls to create a sustainable future for the city. The plan identified development opportunities to improve the City's image and amenity, facilitating investment in the city centre. This included, reviewing height limits and parking controls, stimulating mixed use opportunities, improving the viability of sites and the need for attractive urban forms, buildings and public domain spaces.
