CM+ prepared the brief and conceptual masterplan for a 10,000 student campus in Palapye, Botswana. Set in 2500 hectares, the university will provide engineering and technology education for the Southern African region. The project will be delivered through a public private partnership (PPP) method and is being built in three phases. CM+ has completed the detailed masterplanning and building design for the first phase of the campus which includes approximately 22,000m2 of built space for academic facilities, student accommodation and staff accommodation. The campus design is developed around sustainable concepts in site planning, water management, biodiversity, retention and energy consumption.
