Residential Developments, Abu Dhabi, UAE (26/11/2007)

Animal Behaviour Centre, Macquarie University (23/11/2007)
Construction is due to commence in November 2007 on the new Animal Behaviour Centre at Macquarie University, Ryde. Following the devlopment of a masterplan by CM+ to establish a new campus research centre, full architectural design, documentation and the interior design for Stage 1 works has been completed, The research centre will bring together and augment related research activities as one of the university's proposed 'Concentrations of Research Excellence'.

Steve Warren has joined CM+ as Practice Mananger and Shannon Truloff as Senior Urban Designer. Jacqui Goddard has joined the heritage team at CM+ as Architectural Designer and Senior Heritage Specialist.

Glebe Point Road, Glebe, NSW (01/11/2007)
Construction has commenced on streetscape improvements to Glebe Point Road, Glebe. The design undertaken by CM+ will provide a more vibrant, active and safe public domain and strengthen the unique cultural, social and built heritage of the streetscape.

Campbell Parade East, Bondi Beach, NSW (01/11/2007)
Stage 1 construction commenced in September 2007 on streetscape improvements to Campbell Parade East The detailed design and documentation prepared by CM+ followed on from the masterplan the office developed earlier in the year. The introduction of Washingtonia robusta Mexican Fan Palms in the redesigned median is already having a dramatic impact.

Brise der Mer, Manly, NSW (01/11/2007)
Construction is underway on this beachside residential development located on North Steyne, Manly. The project involves the development of a five-storey apartment building and adaptive reuse of the 1910 weatherboard cottage 'Brise der Mer', the original, heritage-listed holiday cottage on the site.

Middle Head Project, Sydney Harbour, NSW (01/11/2007)
CM+ has prepared a masterplan, documentation and will oversee contract administration for the conservation and adaptation of former Defence holdings in the Middle Head Precinct, located on Sydney Harbour. A series of precincts and thematic scenarios were identified for the masterplan and workshops were held with the Steering Committee to identify a preferred option for development within each precinct. CM+ is currently preparing construction documentation for the adaptive reuse of the buildings for commercial and institutional functions including conservation works to preserve the heritage fabric.

Nan Tien Temple Cultural Centre + Campus, Wollongong (08/10/2007)
On October 6 2007, the Grand Master of the temple visited Australia from Taiwan for an official ceremony that involved 'turning the first sod' on the site of what will become the Nan Tien Cultural Centre + Campus in Wollongong. CM+ has prepared the masterplan for the new campus and is currently preparing documentation for the Cultural Centre, Museum, and pedestrian connection across the F3 to the Nan Tien Temple.

Botswana International University of Science + Technology (06/10/2007)
CM+ are assisting the World Bank in the implementation of the Botswana International Unviersity of Science and Technology, the second university to be constructed in Palapye, Botswana. The campus will provide a forum and incubator for the development of new technologies and will become a centre of excellence with a student population of 10,000 in the next decade. CM+ is providing input to the masterplan process and review of procurement methods for the campus.

Suzhou Creek, Shanghai, China (01/10/2007)
CM+ has prepared a masterplan and schematic architectural designs for this 18 hectare site in the Jing'an district of Shanghai. The site is located close to the Shanghai CBD, with the Suzhou Creek running along its northern boundary. The masterplan aims to create a successful, mixed use precinct that is vibrant, memorable and sustainable, with a high quality public domain and a strong sense of identity and history. The masterplan has been well received by the Shanghai and Jing'an government.

New Associates and Associate Directors (01/07/2007)
The directors are pleased to announce that as of July 2007 Michael Andrew, Richard Nugent, Colin Polwarth, Judith Rintoul, Peter Simmonds and Ron Yuen accepted positions as Associate Directors of CM+. David Appleby, Elizabeth Cranfield, It Chew Tan and Audrey Thomas have accepted positions as Associates.
